The Belarusian NPP is the first nuclear power plant in Belarus, of the AES-2006 type. It is located at the northwestern border of Belarus, in the triangle between the agro-towns of Vorniany, Gervyaty and Mikhalishki, 18 kilometers from the town of Ostrovets, Grodno region, 40 kilometers from the capital of Lithuania - Vilnius.
