Lomonosov Cargo Terminal in St. Petersburg

Lomonosov Cargo Terminal is located at Petrodvortsovyi district of Lomonossov town of St. Petersburg.

Port arameters:

• Power: 8 mln tons per year,
• Cost: 300 mln euro.

Lomonosov port is located on the south bank of the Neva Bay. The Port is a harbor that is protected by two breakwaters from the open water area. To this harbor of St. Petersburg sea channel, Lomonosov approach channel of 9 miles was laid. Its width is about 70 m for vessels of the immersion of up to 7 meters. Railway port service is provided.

The total area of the pier as a result of construction is 4.5 km².

Construction of four transshipment complexes was planned: for metal cargos, wood, perishable goods and large container cargo ships from rolling.

The project cost is estimated at $ 1.2 billion.
