Adler Thermal Power Plant
Adler Thermal Power Plant (TPP) based on 2 energy power units PGU-180Т is meant to provide the Olympic objects located in Imeritinskyi lowland and developing facilities of Sochi as a mountain resourt with thermal and electric energy.
General Information about the Object:
Key Features (annual production) when putting Adler Thermal Power Plant into full designed capacity:
- Electric Power - 389 MW (min);
- Wlectrical energy - 2.34 billion/kWh;
- Thermal power - 227 Gcal /h;
- Thermal energy - according to the temperature chart of the heating network in Sochi;
- Gross efficiency in condensing mode - 51.6% (at least).
Main buildings and facilities:
- Main building with attached electrical room;
- Station node;
- Administrative building (ABK - administrative, office, household and other non-production premises);
- Combined auxiliary building (chemical water treatment equipment and ancillary facilities of production purposes);
- Building with high voltage electrical equipment, transformers;
- Gaseous fuel;
- Diesel fuel;
- Oil facilities;
- Dry cooling towers;
- Circulating pump stations and fire protection station;
- Rain and stormwater treatment facilities, oily waste;
- Compressor building;
- Technological and cable racks;
- Perimeter fencing with сheck-point (2 pcs.).
- Main equipment of PGU-180 tons:
- 2 gas turbines with generators;
- 2 recovery boiler, double-circuit;
- A steam turbine with a generator.
At Adler Thermal Power Plant, construction of two energy reactors of total capacity of minimum 360 MW is expected. Each unit is a multi-shaft unit: three generators, each has its own operating turbine. The structure of each block consists of 2 gas turbines and one steam turbine. Each generator is connected to the system via a coupling transformer. Each transformer is connected to the switchgear via a separate switch. Power release of the first power bloch is provided via the switchgear of 110 kV, the second - through the switchgear of 220 kV.
All buildings and facilities of the project are to be equipped with required engineering utilities.
Specialists of Engineering Center GOCHS "BASIS" fulfiied the works on SMES installation and supply of equipment.
