Construction of generating facilities of the South Yakutsk Thermal Power Plant
On July 22, 2024, JSC Engineering Center for Civil Defense and Emergencies BASIS developed design documentation for a structured monitoring and control system for engineering systems of buildings and structures (SMIS) for the construction project - "Construction of generating facilities of the South Yakutskaya TPP". The new TPP will help solve the problem of electrification of the railway infrastructure of the Eastern Polygon of Russian Railways (RZD). In addition, the station will be a major consumer of natural gas from the Power of Siberia-1 main gas pipeline (MGP). An 8.5 km gas pipeline branch will be built to the station from the Power of Siberia (consumption - 0.5 billion m3 / year of gas). It is assumed that the TPP will be put into operation in 2 stages: first, 2 gas turbine units (GTU) with a total capacity of 220 MW will be introduced; at the 2nd stage, a steam turbine with a capacity of 110 MW will be built.
