JSC "KUIBYSHEVAZOT" is one of the leading companies of Russian chemical industry.

The company operates in two main areas:

• caprolactam and its derived products (PA-6, high tenacity yarns, cord fabric, engineering plastics);
• ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers.

The area of the plant is 3 000 000 sq.m. (300 hectares), the number of employees is 5.5 thousand.

Being a particularly hazardous object, the company "KUIBYSHEVAZOT" is equipped with SMES system developed by specialists of Engineering Center GOCHS "BASIS".

SMES system is designed for:

• real-time monitoring critical important parameters of integrated security systems, life support and engineering systems in terms of staff, visitors, public and the environment;
• real-time informing duty dispatching service (DDS) of the industrial complex of "KUIBYSHEVAZOT" and management unit of EDDS of Togliatti city on pre-emergency or emergency condition of engineering systems and structures;
• providing the staff on duty and dispatching services of JSC "KUIBYSHEVAZOT" with complex information required for timely adoption of effective measures in order to:
  • prevent emergency development;
  • localize emergency of fire;
  • reduce human and material losses in the event of an emergency or fire;
• providing emergency dervices of Samara region with the information required to carry out rescue operations and mitigation of accidents, fires and emergencies.
