Failure to comply with mandatory requirements for equipment monitoring systems - a security threat

According to the website of the Yenisei TV channel (Krasnoyarsk), at 4 am on February 20, 2021, the roof collapsed in the crushing shop of the Norilsk mining and processing plant. As a result, one person died, five were injured, and two more remain under the rubble.

An emergency situation might not have happened if the processing plant was equipped with a monitoring system for engineering systems (SMIS) in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 22.1.12-2005, mandatory by virtue of Article 46 of Federal Law No. 184-FZ.
