Fire at an oil refinery in Ryazan eliminated
On the morning of March 1, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about a fire on the territory of RNPK JSC in the city of Ryazan. According to updated data, a pumping (pumping) station at a diesel plant caught fire. A column of black smoke was visible from many parts of the city.
Fire and rescue units were sent to the scene of the fire. At 12 hours 13 minutes the fire on an area of 50 square meters was eliminated. 82 people participated in the extinguishing, 20 pieces of equipment were involved.
Two workers were injured. Both are in the hospital with serious burns. According to preliminary information, nothing threatens their lives.
There is no threat to the environment, environmental monitoring is in place. The production process at the plant did not stop, the products are being shipped to consumers. A commission has been set up at the enterprise to investigate the causes of the incident.
