Changes in the Federal Law № 116 "On industrial safety of hazardous production facilities"

"Rostehnadzor" informed on the following changes to the Federal Law of 21.07.1997 №116-FZ "On industrial safety of hazardous production facilities":

• According to Article 1 of the new edition of the Federal Law "On Industrial Safety of Hazardous Industrial Facilities", technical devices used at hazardous production facilities are machines, technological equipment, machinery and systems (or) equipment, parts, equipment, machinery, used in the operation of hazardous production facilities;
• According to Article 5, paragraph 6, technical devices used at hazardous production facilities, in operation are subject to industrial safety expertise in the manner prescribed by the federal executive authority in the field of industrial safety, unless another form of conformity assessment of technical devices and mandatory requirements to them is not set by technical regulations;
• According to Article 6, paragraph 6, the use of technical devices at hazardous production facilities is subject in case of obtaining a permit issued by the federal executive authority in the field of industrial safety, unless another form of conformity assessment of technical devices used at hazardous production facilities, the mandatory requirements to them is not established by technical regulations.
