Harmonized international leadership is required in order to coordinate and ensure the effectiveness of emergency management activities. ISO 22320 is a valuable tool that can be used by any type of organization to improve their ability in incident response in any critical situation."
The standard provides best practice of creating structures of operational control and management, procedures, decision support system, information management. Interaction of participating organizations is very important for successful incident response. The standard also provides timely, relevant and accurate operational information by describing processes, business systems, data collection and management.
