The Council approved the initiative during Rostehnadzor on improving the law in the field of industrial safety

The meeting considered proposals for amendments to the Federal Law "On industrial safety of hazardous production facilities" in the interest of improving supervisory and licensing functions .

Members of the Public Council under "Rostehnadzor" decided to approve collective initiative of a number of scientific and expert organizations to develop proposals aimed at improving federal legislation in the field of industrial safety.

Until March 15, 2012, Public Council under "Rostehnadzor" will summarize their opinions, suggestions and comments made at meetings of the Board and committees, and will finish materials to the Chairman of the Public Council under the leadership of the report for "Rostehnadzor" management.

Until March 15, the Presidium of the Public Council under "Rostehnadzor" will consider establishing a working group to participate in legislation drafting, improve legal regulation in the field of industrial safety. Members of the Public Council decided to recommend to "Rostekhnadzor" to take into account the peculiarities of critical and potentially hazardous infrastructure of the Russian Federation, as well as issues of security of these facilities against natural and manmade hazards in the development of new mechanisms of regulation in the field of industrial safety . The next meeting of the Public Council on this matter is scheduled for May.
